RootsTech London 3 day Pass Givewaway!!!!

I am so happy that RootsTech has given me, as a RootsTech London Ambassador, a free 3 day pass (149 Pound value) to giveaway to my followers!

I am excited that RootsTech is expanding to London, allowing others to experience this great event. Mark your calendars for October 24-26, 2019 at London's ExCel Convention Centre. The event will be hosted by Nick Barratt, author, historian and host of BBS's Who Do You Think You Are.

Why should you attend? The real question is why not? Here's just some of my reasons:
  • 150 Informative Lectures from knowledgeable experts from around the world. Download the RootsTech app to your phone or table, and check out all the presentations!  I'm looking forward to Irish and British research classes
  • Huge Exhibit Hall, discover all the cool genealogy offerings in the exhibit hall. Consult with experts from Family History Societies and Archives. Buy new software and meet your cousins!
  • Outstanding Entertainment, everybody needs a break from the hard work of chasing ancestors, so sit back and enjoy Donny Osmond and other great entertainers!
  • Learning from Others, you never know when you may find yourself seated next to someone with a shared research interest or even a cousin. Attending region specific classes can put you in touch with like minded researchers.
It's an outstanding event, and I encourage you to attend!

To enter the 3 day pass drawing, leave a comment on my blog with why you want to attend, and I'll select a winner by August 5th.  The pass does not include airfare or hotel.

  1. So much to see, do, and learn at Rootstech, old friends to meet, connections to forge but also a chance to progress my research. Where's that hammer? Let me at those brick walls!

  2. I would very much like to improve my DNA knowledge. A recent DNA discovery has led me to believe that I have a half sibling that I know nothing about. So any and all DNA knowledge would be very welcome, Thanks

  3. What a chance on is first visit to London. The variety of talks and informative stalls must surely help me before I embark on the DNA route to solving my brick walls and widening my family

  4. I'd love to attend to learn the latest on DNA (hoping to find descendants of my great-grandmother who gave my grandmother up for adoption) and to meet cousins who live in London, who have already helped provide info on a genetic disorder in the family.

    1. Congratulations you are the winner of a free RootsTech London Pass!!! Please reply with your contact details, and I'll send along the certificate with instructions for redeeming your pass!

  5. This will be my first Rootstech and I am looking forward to learning as much as I can in the three days! Also very much looking forward to meeting other Genies and just soaking up the atmosphere!

  6. Living in Australia, we do not have the population to support huge conferences like this. Plus it is expensive of Aussies to travel long distances as we are so far away! So the chance to attend one of the big overseas conferences is a chance not to be missed. Most of my ancestors are UK based and with many speakers concentrating on UK topics, attending Rootstech would enable me to learn heaps of new stuff and take my skills and knowledge to the next level. And best of all, a chance to meet heaps of new genie colleagues, maybe even a long lost cousin or two if I'm really lucky!
